Well, apparently I'm getting in good with our friends at danielwelt.de, because I received an email from them today, which holds some most interesting information.

December 2003/Januar 2004 Daniel in its first motion picture film - "Daniel, the Zauberer"

Daniel stands for the main role of the first part of the motion picture film "Daniel, the Zauberer" before the camera. Barrel binder star and US director Ulli Lommel turns the strip, which is to come also in the USA into the cinemas, together with the barrel binder clique and Daniel. Scenes in Vegas, Los Angeles, Munich read and during the fan Specials in Passau is turned. It will be a mixture from "Daniel fairy tales", the "magician's apprentice" and the "small lord". Also at the set genuine star actors are such as author and director Peter Schamoni, who acts like the Daniel Hasser "Grandpa winters", or Lommel friend Rudolf W. Brem. Director Lommel compares the Story with the history of magician's apprentice Harry Potter, speaks of a nearly true "Daniel fairy tale" and of Daniels of "terribly positive energy". Like Harry Daniel had a sad, lonely childhood. Until film Zauberer Merlin teaches to him, as one draws positive strength from the bad events.
